Prayer Requests

  • This request is from Carey and Lisa Kinsolving. “If you don't mind adding another prayer request, Carey's 99-year-old grandmother still needs prayers. She fell and broke her neck at night when the power was out during Hurricane Dolly. She has had a halo device screwed into her skull ever since. She's been recovering slowly from the surgery to put that on, and the initial trauma of the fall and injury. She's home and is getting around remarkably well with a walker. But, the recent doctor report is that her neck, though aligned properly, is NOT healing (i.e., there is no new bone forming to heal the break). They are putting her on Fosamax or something to encourage new bone growth. (Why they didn't think of this from the beginning for a 99-year-old, I don't know!) So, she will probably have to have the halo stay on for at least another 6 weeks. Please pray for healing (if this doesn't work, they may have to do more surgery to fuse the bones) and for her salvation.” Wow, that speaks for its self. She needs miraculous healing and salvation. Let’s pray for her.
  • Dari Gail Adams fell the other day on ice. She broke her leg near the hip joint. This required surgery. She also, subsequent to that, had to undergo angioplasty surgery. Please keep her in your prayer. She is going through rehab at this time. All of this happened while on Christmas vacation up in Pennsylvania. They are slated to return to the valley on the 8th of January.
  • Pastor Bret would appreciate prayer for Market Days tomorrow. Pray for open hearts. Thank you on behalf of the Market Days team.
